Maria Candida Gentile Aqua Forte ~ new fragrance :: Now Smell This

Italian niche house Maria Candida Gentile has launched Aqua Forte, a new fragrance.

Aqua Forte is the first Eau de Cologne by Maria Candida Gentile.

It was created as an homage to one of the great traditions of perfumery: the Eau de Cologne, a luminous and refined scented water whose origins date back to the eighteenth century. At that time, Giovanni Maria Farina, an Italian from Piedmont who settled in Cologne, created a new idea of fragrance: fresh, citrusy and transparent, in contrast with the opulence of the perfumes of his time.

Aqua Forte takes inspiration from that spirit. It is not simply a light fragrance, but a gesture of clarity, freshness and elegance. A scented water that gives breath, restores energy and brings light back to the skin.

Its composition is built with natural materials: vivid, luminous citrus notes, geranium and clove, in a formula that recalls the ancient tradition of Eau de Cologne while expressing the personal language of Maria Candida Gentile.

Additional notes include bergamot, lemon, orange, mandarin, lime, lavender and citron.

Maria Candida Gentile Aqua Forte is available in 7 or 100 ml Eau de Cologne.
