Gucci Lignum Idealis & Ylang Ambrato ~ new fragrances :: Now Smell This

Gucci has launched two new fragrances in The Alchemist’s Garden collection: Lignum Idealis and Ylang Ambrato.

Lignum Idealis ~ Spicy woods developed by perfumer Alexis Grugeon. “Lignum Idealis Eau de Parfum is an ode to one of the largest trees on earth, capturing the majestic woody essence of the Giant Sequoia. Its spicy essence is preserved through an exclusive extract obtained with modern headspace technology. Creamy Sandalwood is contrasted by a fragrant edge brought by a Juniper Berries Essence.” Additional notes include black pepper, cypress, dreamwood, olibanum, cedar and vetiver.

Ylang Ambrato ~ Amber floral developed by perfumer Jean-Christophe Hérault. “The new Ylang Ambrato Eau de Parfum unveils a harmonious fusion of creamy Ylang-Ylang Heart Essence and gourmand Tonka Bean Absolute. The two extracts are macerated and fused together to create a single, ambered accord. Spicy, intense Tobacco notes intertwine with Cistus Absolute, imparting sweet and woody undertones.” Additional notes include neroli, bergamot, black pepper, tolu balsam, opoponax and oak.

Gucci Lignum Idealis and Ylang Ambrato are available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
