Thursday scent of the day 1/15 :: Now Smell This

SOTD: Fille en Aiguilles.

We have a real winter wonderland here – trees covered in snow, ice glimmering on their branches. It looks magical. Unfortunately, all this beauty comes with extremely low temperatures, torn cables, and a failing power grid – one that was already damaged. And of course Russia keeps attacking the system to damage it even more. A state of emergency has been announced in the energy sector.

Yesterday was rough. Nine hours without power, then 1.5 hours with power, and seven hours without power again. I didn’t get a lot of sleep, trying to use the available power from the charging stations wisely. At least I had these backups! But did I still wear a scent yesterday? Yes – two: first Ambre Narguilé, then Shalimar.

Anyway, we can only hope that either it warms up soon or Russia stops attacking. They say nature is cruel, but I expect more kindness from winter.
