NY NOW Winter Market 2026 at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC

NY NOW is one of two premier wholesale shows in New York that present their Buyers Markets in tandem twice a year, in February and August. NY NOW, the longest-running wholesale trade show in New York serving the gift, home, and accessories marketplace, celebrated its 100th anniversary last year. Held at the Javits Center, it showcases brands and designers for the press and qualified buyers to connect with and discover a world of inspiration. Unofficially referred to as The New York Gift + Home Show, it was held on February 1-3, 2026. The Winter Market features Home Design, Tabletop, Baby Child, Gift+Stationery, Luxury Lifestyle, Accent on Design, and Accessories.

My takeaway from the show was again the lack of beauty and fragrance brands. After  te Pandemic, the big fragrance distributors never returned. The number of new up-and-coming brands in the fragrance and beauty sector that took up the slack has all now retreated. Outside of the Harper Groups’ brands, I found only a handful of candle brands and no beauty or wellness brands, just like the last show. In the past the show was held on two levels; now the show barely fills one level. The reasons are many.

One is that some brands have migrated over to Shoppe Object NY. (report coming soon) And, the cost factor of presenting here is another big impediment for nascent brands without backing. At the Atlanta Market (another premier gift show), I was informed (by more than a few exhibitors) that they are back to pre-COVID numbers, unlike here.

Here’s hoping that we see NY NOW return to more robust fragrance and beauty exhibitors in the future. Our Best of  Winter 2026 Show

 The Harper Group NY NOW 2026 Winter Market

The Harper Group, with over 25 years of experience bringing the most unique and sought-after home, gift, publishing, and lifestyle brands to discriminating retailers across the country, maintains a significant footprint in the Market. Noteworthy fragrant and beauty brands under their umbrella include Antica Farmacista, LAFCO, TOCCA, Margot Elena, Skeem Design, Boy Smells, and Roger & Gallet amongst others.

Jon Bresler’s luxury fragrance and skincare brand, LAFCO New York, presented a comprehensive range for the 2026 Spring and Summer seasons. A top highlight for me from the House and Home Collection was the Tomato Season Candle and Reed Diffuser. Tomato scents are all the rage right now, and having smelled a number, I pronounce this one superior. Notes of cucumber, heirloom tomato, and sage fill the air with a sun-ripened fragrance that reveals a country yard ripe with the scent of nature. The fabulous Chamomile Lavender Collection (with notes of smoky patchouli, sage, and rosemary) includes products such as laundry detergent, laundry fragrance oil, dryer balls, and surface cleaner, which will elevate your daily rituals. The heavenly Limited-Edition Weekend Reset Candle (freesia, fresh linen, and driftwood) will only be available in their boutique retailer community as a token of LAFCO NY’s appreciation for their support. Bravo!

Antica Farmacista NY NOW 2026 Winter Market

Liana Robertshaw, Director of Sales for Antica Farmacista, presented the current collection, Magnolia Bloom. The silky floral bouquet marries bright citrus and pear with magnolia grandiflora, white peony, and orange blossom. Grounded by notes of creamy tonka bean and smooth blonde cedar, this base offers a soft, woodsy warmth that stays with you all day. The line includes Diffusers, Candles, Room Spray, Hand and Body Wash, and Moisturizer. The Seattle-based women-owned brand was founded in 2003 by Susanne Pruitt and Shelley Callaghan. The luxury fragrance house is credited with being the first to introduce the “Home Ambience Diffuser” to the U.S. market.

TOCCA Laila

Tocca means “touch” in Italian, and TOCCA’s luxurious products add a graceful touch of beauty to your life. TOCCA Laila was just released for the Fall season. Laila, a passionate pleasure seeker, is ever in pursuit of pure decadence. Laila is the embodiment of the Italian expression piacere—meaning pleasure—ever in pursuit of indulgence and enjoyment. The fresh citrus note that opens it up makes way with a gorgeous vanilla, then eases into a bed of soft flowers and earthy amber.

Founded in Spain over 100 years ago, Cereria Mollá 1899 creates handcrafted, personalized, scented candles with rich aromatic elements for your home, evoking new sensations and emotions. Passed down from generation to generation, with an artisanal tradition that is still active, they respect many of the inherited processes that ensure exquisite production and unsurpassed quality. Highlight was the new Oud & Leather Collection, Candles, Reed Diffusers, Incense, and room and Body Spray.

French perfume house Roger & Gallet dates back to 1862 and is noted for its luxurious bath soaps, a line of scented body products, and candles. The brand sustains its tradition of fragrances based on rare plants and essential oils, in chic and distinctive packaging that recalls the Art Deco era. The Wellbeing, The Heritage, and the Cologne Twist make up the fragrance collections. Their fragrances are collaborations with noted perfumers Alberto Morillas, Francis Kurkdjian, Marie Salamagne, Nathalie Lorson, Fabrice Pellegrin, and Anne Flipo, to name a few.

Tokyo Milk by Margot Elena NY NOW 2026 Winter Market

Tokyo Milk specializes in fragrances, soaps, scented body care products, and candles, packaged in carefully designed bottles, tubes, and boxes. The new Dead Sexy: The Alchemy of Allure is a spellbinding set enclosed in a keepsake gilt box enveloped in sultry florals & Dead Sexy’s iconic skull. The “WUTHERING HEIGHTS” x Margot Elena collaboration is a new level of allure. Romantic and ethereal with names like Never Leave Eau de Parfum, Be With Me Always Eau de Parfum, Drive Me Mad Eau de Parfum, and Come Undone Eau de Parfum.

 

Much has transpired since Co-Founders Matthew Herman and David Kein launched LA-based Boy Smells in 2016, with a range of Candles, Body Mists, and Fine Fragrances. The packaging recently went through a makeover. Originally, the brand’s mix was 70-30, candles over fragrances. The popularity of scents has flipped that equation to 70-30 fragrances over candles. New perfume launches, Solar Drip, and Coco Hinoki will hit the mark for Spring. And, the pop-up store that opened last year on Elizabeth Street has now become a permanent New York home base. Welcome!

 

 Skeem Design

Skeem Design was founded in 2004 by Suji Meswani and Geoff Weiser. Named “Skeem” after their “scheme” to escape the corporate grind, they focused on creating design-forward, American-made products with minimal packaging and vessels meant to be repurposed. IUC Brands acquired the company in 2021. They have since collaborated with the Victoria and Albert Museum on four garden-inspired candles and, most recently, with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation on its iconic Saguaro Forms and Waterlilies designs, crafted into candles and matchboxes.

 La Chatelaine Beauty

California-based La Chatelaine conveys timeless French beauty and prestige quality with a fresh apothecary design. From the South of France, the luxurious line of products defines a sense of modern elegance. The emollient-rich, deeply nourishing soaps and hand creams protect and honor bodies and the planet. Revealing and unleashing every woman’s innate beauty and unapologetic confidence, they evoke a certain “je ne sais quoi.” The new Sun-Kissed and Rain Lily hand cream and soaps impressed.

 

Kali Smith and Brant Anderson Co-Founders of OLPHACTORY CANDLES

Dallas-based OLPHACTORY CANDLES orchestrates a multisensory experience by pairing the art of scent with the soul of jazz. Born of a love for the arts, their mission is to provide eco-friendly luxury through hand-poured, sustainable coconut wax candles that are paraben- and phthalate-free. Minneapolis, MN, home fragrance brand True Hue was founded in 2017 by Griffin Overbye. With a mission to capture the essence of his lakefront childhood and the joy of the outdoors in fragrances that are complex, timeless, and infused with a touch of magic. Every scent has a story worth telling. The creations are designed to transport you, evoking emotions and stories that linger long after the flame has faded. Evolving from a small college apartment operation to a thriving 3,000 sq. ft. warehouse with a line-up that includes candles, reed diffusers, room/ linen sprays, and hand and body wash is impressive.

New York, NY-based FRAVE HOME specializes in luxury hotel-inspired home fragrances. The brand believes that scent is more than a fragrance—it’s a feeling, a memory, an experience. Born from a passion for design and atmosphere, FRAVE blends high-end aesthetics with carefully crafted aromas to elevate every space. Reed Diffusers, Decorative Scent, Interior Parfum Room Sprays, Sachet, Leather Diffuser Scented Charm, and Car Diffusers make up their collection.

The Summer Market will be held on August 2-4, 2026, at the Javits Center.
