Ermenegildo Zegna Memorie x 6 ~ new fragrances :: Now Smell This

Ermenegildo Zegna has launched Memorie, with six new fragrances: A Trivero, Il Calamaio, Il Lanificio, Il Sottobosco, La Panoramica and Saga del Piemonte.

A fragrance journey born in the Alps of northern Italy, carried through six places and six objects – where memory becomes scent. From the inkwell of our Founder, Ermenegildo Zegna, to the forests of Oasi Zegna, each scent captures a fragment of heritage, vision, and craftsmanship. This is a legacy of emotion and memories distilled into a fragrance collection, where past and present breathe as one.

A Trivero ~ “This fragrance retraces the path to Trivero’s alpine breeze…A Trivero, named after a town in northern Italy, where the brand was founded, recreates the scent of crisp mountain air with a blend of floral notes and myrrh.” Developed by perfumer Quentin Bisch.

Il Calamaio ~ “Il Calamaio echoes the ink of newspapers in the Founder’s study at dawn..Il Calamaio, which is Italian for ‘inkwell’, recreates the rich aromas Ermenegildo Zegna himself smells when he’s in his office with rose absolute, as well as Oud and ink accords.” Developed by perfumer Dominique Ropion.

Il Lanificio ~ “Il Lanificio evokes raw wool becoming fabric, soft yet textural…Il Lanificio, which is Italian for ‘wool mill’, recreates the aroma Ermenegildo Zegna himself smells when he walks through the lanificio with notes of vanilla, suede accord and sandalwood. Developed by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin.

Il Sottobosco ~ “Il Sottobosco captures Oasi Zegna’s undergrowth after rain…Il Sottobosco, which translates to ‘undergrowth’, reimagines the rich aroma the earth releases after rain with notes of patchouli, carrot seeds and pink pepper.” Developed by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin.

La Panoramica ~ “La Panoramica recalls the road built by Ermenegildo Zegna, where sunlight and pine trees meet the Oasi Zegna…La Panoramica, which is Italian for ‘panoramic’, is the scenic mountain road built by Ermenegildo Zegna. It encapsulates the freshness of the outdoors – more specifically, the Oasi Zegna forest – with notes of pine needles, lavender and vetiver creating a feeling of familiarity.”

Saga del Piemonte ~ “Saga del Piemonte evokes fireside tales in Piedmont, Italy, with warmth and cherished tradition….Saga del Piemonte, which is Italian for ‘Tale of Piedmont’, encapsulates an evening spent by Ermenegildo Zegna with his loved ones by the fire, blending notes of Virginian cedarwood, cherry infusion and coffee accord to replicate the warm feeling of intimacy.”
