The Art and Olfaction Awards Winners 2026

The Institute for Art and Olfaction (IAO) announced the winners of the 12th Annual Art and Olfaction Awards, revealed June 11, 2026, at the Gazarte Cultural Center in Athens, Greece. The ceremony brought together perfumers, artists, journalists, educators, and fragrance enthusiasts from around the world for an intimate and friendly celebration of excellence in global independent, artisan, and experimental practices with scent.

“In our twelfth year, we are excited to continue to bring the Art and Olfaction Awards to global capitals with vibrant and exciting independent perfume scenes,” said Institute for Art and Olfaction founder Saskia Wilson-Brown. “The entire awards team, including our incredible roster of dedicated judges, is thrilled to celebrate global excellence in scent-making in the great city of Athens—one of the world’s important centers for philosophy, art, culture, and, increasingly, perfumery.”

“We’re excited to build on our commitment to international dialogue in perfumery by holding the next edition of the Art and Olfaction Awards in Mexico City, in May 2027, adding: “Our team is thrilled to bring the awards to this important cultural center, which serves as a geographic bridge between North America and Latin America.” Submissions for the 13^th awards will open in late September 2026, and will be open to perfumes and projects launched to market between January 1 and December 31, 2026.”,-Saskia Wilson Brown, (Founder and Executive Director, Institute for Art and Olfaction)
